2018 Workshop
Description
For the pilot program year, students from MIT and FIT came together for two weeks to discover and explore apparel while gaining an understanding the intersection between design and engineering.
The Challenge
During the first week of the workshop, students were given the freedom to explore technologies related to 3D printing, advanced knitting, and advanced fibers. From there, students paired up to create innovative product concepts and rapid prototypes based on their learning.
